Mariam Galstyan

Mariam is a recent graduate of International Relations at Yerevan State University. As an ambitious leader, she is passionate about International Development and Cooperation. To foster public diplomacy among countries Mariam actively participates in numerous EU-backed youth and educational projects. Her endeavours and motivation as an influential change maker inspire her to contribute to the sustainability and prosperity of various communities.

Albert Gabrielyan

Albert is currently studying at the Humanitarian Technical College of Yerevan and considers himself to be a future programmer. He is a member of the “Uniting Bridge” social non-governmental organisation and “Euroclub Oshakan”. Albert is passionate about community problem solving and one of his interests is volunteering, which he looks forward to continuing in his role as a Young European Ambassador. Albert is particularly keen to learn more about new cultures and especially about Europe.

Aren Dzavaryan

Aren is a student in the Faculty of Marketing at the French University in Armenia (UFAR). Since 2018, Aren has been the editor of Armenian Wikipedia, author of 650+ articles. He is an alumnus of COAF Smart Center, and has participated in Finance, Sound Design, Marketing and Programming courses. Aren is interested in languages (English, French, Spanish, Russian and Armenian) and chose Marketing because he enjoys communicating with a large audience. Aren looks forward to travelling through his role as a Young European Ambassador.

Milena Demirkhanian

Milena is working hard to complete her upper secondary school studies. She has been actively engaged in volunteering since 2022, and has participated in various projects and training. Milena loves taking part in conferences and informal educational activities. She hopes that becoming a Young European Ambassador will afford her great opportunities to grow and develop. Milena has language skills in English and Russian.

Meri Davtian

Meri is a fourth-year student at Shirak State University, majoring in Linguistics. She is an Erasmus+ Exchange program alumni, which has greatly transformed her life. She is currently working as a Learning Coach at TUMO Center for Creative Technologies, and she plans on applying for a graduate degree in Europe in the near future. Meri is passionate about linguistics, studying foreign languages, IT spheres and social sciences.

Hmayak Danielyan

Hmayak is currently a student at Kajaran Secondary School. He is a diligent student who aims to become a successful lawyer in the near future. Hmayak is very excited about volunteering and extracurricular activities, and is passionate about participating in projects about law, governance, languages, media literacy and expanding his knowledge. He is keen to learn the law so he can have the privilege of demonstrating the ability to maintain justice.

Aram Dallakyan

Aram is currently studying advanced physics and mathematics at the Evrika Special School in Vanadzor, Lori region. He is interested in game programming and has collaborated with friends to create a game. While he was participating in the Summer School of the “National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia”, he decided that in the future he will become an economist, and programming will be his second profession. Aram is convinced that the development of high technologies contributes to the realization of powerful ideas of the younger generation.

Zorayr Beknazaryan

Zorayr is currently completing secondary school studies. Most of Zorayr’s free time is spent on developing new initiatives and ideas. For three years, Zorayr has been actively involved in various local and international NGOs, volunteering to make the community a better place. Apart from volunteering, Zorayr also enjoys photography, particularly with vintage cameras, as well as music.

Diana Babakhanyan

Diana has been working as a program manager in the Armenian Progressive Youth NGO since 2018. In her role, she orchestrates and oversees a range of international projects, with a particular focus on the Erasmus+ initiatives. These projects encompass youth development and empowerment, reflecting her commitment to fostering growth and opportunity among young individuals. She is also managing the humanitarian assistance projects conducted by the organisation.

Susanna Ayrumyan

Susanna is an aspiring young legal professional with a keen interest in Intellectual Property Law. She is especially intrigued by the connection between creative arts and legal complexities, a fascination she delved into during internships at the Armenian Intellectual Property Office and as a Copywriter and Legal Researcher for EU Trademark Law at M.L.Manis Law Firm in Cagliari, Italy. She is pursuing her Bachelor degree in Law at Yerevan State University.  Since August 2023, she has been a member of the European Law Students Association (ELSA) in Armenia. Gayane Aydinyan

Gayane is a third-year student at Yerevan State University, majoring in Applied Statistics and Data Science. She has spent a semester at the University of Houston-Victoria in the USA within the Global UGRAD program. Gayane works as a Research Assistant at the Armenian Bioinformatics Institute, focusing on analyzing and modeling microbiome landscapes, associated with chronic disease progression. She is determined to become a renowned AI scientist and contribute to the development of the field in Armenia. Arsen Arzumanyan

Arsen is a young professional with a passion for education, travel, and learning new languages. As an individual who loves to explore new cultures, he has actively participated in numerous volunteer projects and taken part in various educational programs and courses. He  believes that with the help of such projects, young people can bring about significant positive changes. Arsen looks forward to contributing positively in this way as part of the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative.

Arman Arshak-Shahbazyan

Arman is currently taking a study break, working as a manager with young people. Since the age of 14, he has endeavoured to be an active citizen. Arman looks forward to sharing European values in Armenia, striving for equality, equity and tolerance through his role as a Young European Ambassador.

Levon Arsenyan

Levon is currently completing upper secondary studies, and is looking forward to becoming a diplomat. Levon is a member of the “Uniting Bridge” NGO and volunteer at the “Euroclub Oshakan”. He enjoys leading an active lifestyle and by volunteering, Levon tries to contribute to the prosperity of his community, and understands that by joining the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative is an important step to move forward.

Ani Ananyan

  • Current residence: Armenia
Ani is an inquisitive and proactive individual who is looking forward to completing her secondary school studies. Her hobbies are playing the guitar, writing songs and poetry. She participates in events related to poetry organized by Vanadzor State University, where she sometimes performs her own songs. One of her greatest passions later became her professional choice – psychology.

EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
