As a student of International Relations at “ADA”Universiteti (“ADA” University), where she represents her cohort in the Undergraduate Student Government, Leyla has been learning about different international institutions. During her exchange semester at Sciences Po Lille, France, Leyla learned a lot about the strength of the European Union in promoting unity, peace, and tolerance. Leyla considers that this is when she started engaging in activities that are directly or indirectly related to the EU. She is now the President of the local section of the Erasmus Student Network Azerbaijan; ESN ADA Baku. Furthermore, after national selections, she was granted the opportunity to participate in a study visit to the European Parliament where she was engaged in a traineeship for a month. Leyla has also attended conferences such as Model European Council, European Youth Parliament and Model United Nations.
