Leyla Jabbarzade has a bachelor’s degree in Translation from the Azerbaijani University of Languages. In 2014, Leyla was awarded a scholarship to study master’s degree in Education at the University of Sheffield (UK) by the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan. She has four years of work experience in online media and a volunteering experience at local NGOs which encompasses a wide variety of fields: seminar planning, project management, public relations. In 2020, she was selected as the PR manager of the “Common Sense” Youth Organisation and started serving two years as the head of the PR team. Besides, she is actively involved in the implementation of youth projects to bring awareness to human rights, equality, peace education, youth education and social inclusion.

EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a B&S Europe-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
