Aghgul is a dedicated advocate for gender equality and climate justice and holds a bachelor degree in State and Public Affairs from Baku State University. She serves as a Youth Ambassador for Women Against Violence Europe, working to combat violence against women and girls. As a YOUNGO (UNFCCC Youth Constituency) member part of the Women and Gender Working Group and a Liaison Officer on Climate Justice at Youth and Environment Europe (YEE), she advocates for social equity in climate policy-making. Aghgul is actively involved with NGOs and civil society advocating for equity and equality. She has experience as an intern at the Analysis of International Relations Center, Gender Hub Azerbaijan, and HeForShe Azerbaijan, where she developed expertise in research, advocacy, and gender-focused initiatives. As a Young European Ambassador, Aghgul wants to drive impactful change by fostering partnerships, advancing sustainable policies, and leveraging diverse experiences to create a more equitable and resilient global community.
