Emma Vardanyan

Emma is currently studying Journalism at Yerevan State University. She is a member of the “Voskehat” Youth Non-governmental organisation (NGO). She is active and sociable and would like to be a diplomat in the future – someone who contributes to establishing good relations between countries. Emma is also interested in world news and non-formal education.

Hasmik Torosyan

  • Country of origin: Armenia
  • Current residence: Armenia, Yerevan
Hasmik studies at Yerevan State University, in the Faculty of Biology and at the same time at the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia. She is also working at the Republic of Armenia National Academy of Science’s Institute of Molecular Biology. Ecological urbanism, sustainable development and biodiversity loss are some of her main interests. During her Erasmus+ exchange experience, she also discovered the importance of Global change awareness.

Jemma Tadevosyan

  • Current residence: Armenia, Yerevan
Jemma graduated from Yerevan State University with a Bachelor of Honours degree in Spanish Language and Literature. In the past, she volunteered at the American Council for International Education in Armenia, and the Football Federation of Armenia, and has actively participated in several projects promoting non-formal education. She currently works as a recruitment assistant for the FLEX Programme. She is actively involved in non-formal educational activities and believes that the involvement of young people in their communities is very important and is a guarantee for a better future.

Vergush Tadevosyan

  • Current residence: Armenia, Yerevan
Vergush is from the Gorayk village of the Syunik region. She holds a Bachelor in International Relations and currently works as an office manager. She is a Board member of one of the largest youth Non-governmental Organisations (NGOs) in Armenia and the Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia. She is an intern at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as well, and she actively engages with gender equality issues. She is also an active member of her community and is a co-founder of Gorayk Youth Center.

Tigranuhi Simonyan

  • Country of origin: Armenia
  • Current residence: Armenia, Vagharshapat
Tigranuhi is a secondary school student, hoping to study abroad and travel the world in the future. She has been an active volunteer in her community since 2021. She is also a member of the Competitive College Club and the Eurnekian School’s Student Council. In her free time, she enjoys learning languages, reading books, dancing, and watching documentaries.

Tsovik Sargsyan

Tsovik is a good communicator and she excels at expressing her ideas verbally, in writing, and on social media. She’s also an avid team player and always believes in the process and goals that can be achieved within a group. She firmly believes that the success achieved in a group is also her own success. Her hobbies are playing the piano, singing, reading books, and last but not least drinking hot chocolate!

Anna Sahakyan

  • Current residence: Armenia, Yerevan
Anna is studying International Relations and Diplomacy at Yerevan State University. She has been actively engaged in volunteering since 2019, and since then, she has participated in various Erasmus Plus projects and training as well as. In addition, she has taken part in many conferences, involved in non-formal educational activities. She is very keen on expanding her knowledge and skills in a variety of aspects. She has high hopes that being a Young European Ambassador will give her this opportunity and allow her to contribute her leadership and teamwork abilities. Anna speaks English, Russian, Korean, a bit of Azerbaijani and is currently learning German.

Alen Ochinyan

  • Current residence: Armenia, Yerevan
Alen is a student in the Faculty of International Relations at Yerevan State University, and outside his studies, he works as a tour guide. He is currently in Romania, on an Erasmus exchange programme as part of his course. He is a communicative, responsible, and smart person, trying to use every opportunity he can to develop his skills and knowledge. He is also an ambitious person, who is trying to better his life and that of the people surrounding him.

Sofya Movsisyan

  • Current residence: Armenia, Oshakan
Sofya is a secondary school student and one of the members of the “Uniting Bridge” social non-governmental organization (NGO). She is very interested in community activities, and one of her main interests is volunteering. In the future, she would like to become a lawyer and is currently actively working to achieve that goal, while also being a dynamic member of “Euroclub Oshakan”. She is looking forward to being a part of the YEA initiative and the new challenges and opportunities it will bring.

Varvara Movsisyan

  • Current residence: Armenia, Oshakan
Varvara is studying at the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture, is one of the members of the “Uniting Bridge” social non-governmental organisation (NGO) and is an active member of “EuroClub Oshakan”. She is very interested in community activities, and one of her main interests is volunteering. She is also very excited about the new opportunities the YEAs will bring and the development she will gain in the future.

Anush Mkrtchyan

  • Current residence: Armenia, Yerevan
Anush is an active youth and social worker, who has always been interested in international relations, human rights, decision-making, and politics. As a future diplomat and hardworking volunteer in humanitarian and youth fields for the past 7 years, she seeks every opportunity to make lasting impacts on other people, communities, and countries. The YEAs are the perfect next step for her professional development, and she is looking forward to being a part of this opportunity.

Diana Mesropyan

  • Country of origin: Armenia
  • Current residence: Armenia, Vedi
Diana has many hobbies including writing books and designing apps. She plays the guitar and can’t imagine my life without music. She absolutely loves astronomy. “How can we look at the sky full of stars every night and not ask ourselves what secrets are being kept by this place?”. In addition, Diana loves playing tennis and reading books – her favourite is ‘Six of Crows’. She believes the YEA initiative will be a great addition to her active social life and provide her with new and exciting opportunities to grow.

Lilit Markaryan

  • Current residence: Abovyan, Armenia
Lilit is an ambitious, inquisitive, and hard-working youth worker, English as a Second language (ESL) teacher, and entrepreneur from Armenia. She was a European Voluntary Service (EVS) participant, is an Erasmus Credit Mobility Exchange student, an active member of the EU4Youth Alumni network at EU NEIGHBOURS east, and now a proud Young European Ambassador.

Tatevik Margaryan

  • Country of origin: Armenia
  • Current residence: Armenia, Yerevan
Tatevik holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, which qualifies her as a trained Psychologist and is currently studying a Master of Science in Global Public Health at the Queen Mary University of London. She is also working as a psychologist at the Armenian National Centre of Oncology (NCO) named after V. A. Fanarjyan. She has been working at NCO for more than 6 months now and she absolutely loves it. NCO is the only cancer-oriented hospital in Armenia, and she is the only psychologist working there at the moment. In the future, Tatevik has plans to work in the sphere of public health in Armenia.

Arman Manukyan

Arman is a young professional, working as a learning coach at a school and in one of the largest IT companies in Armenia. He holds a Bachelor degree in Geographic Information Science (GIScience) & Computer Cartography. Arman is always seeking new adventures, often described as an enthusiast because of that. He participates in a lot of projects conducted by different non-governmental organisations (NGOs), including the “Uniting Bridge”, where he is currently an active member. He believes that together, as a unit, with our creativity and great energy, we can shape a better world.
