Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) invite young people from Europe to join them on Monday, 9 March, at 6:30 pm CET, to celebrate International Women’s Day through a discussion of the Mother Statues in three countries: Georgia, Armenia, and Ukraine.
This online event is organised by ten YEAs from the EU-Georgia, EU-Armenia, and EU0Ukraine Dialogue Initiatives, as part of the EU NEIGHBOURS EAST programme, funded by the European Union.
Participants will:
Celebrate International Women’s Day with the Young European Ambassadors by discovering how representations of womanhood intersect with history, politics, and the shaping of modern European identities!
The event should last around one hour in Zoom.
To take part, please, register by midnight, 8 March 2026.
The language of the event is English.
The Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) initiative brings together socially engaged youth from the six Eastern Partner countries, the European Union and the United Kingdom to foster dialogue and to raise awareness about the EU and its cooperation with its Eastern partner countries.
