Model European Union Lisbon 2025 – free participation for young people from Moldova

Model European Union Lisbon 2025 invites young people from Moldova to join for free its activities, scheduled to take place from 1 to 5 September 2025, in Lisbon, Portugal.

Organised by BETA Portugal, this international event brings together young people from all over the world to step into the shoes of EU policymakers (as Members of the European Parliament or Ministers in the Council of the EU), journalists, and lobbyists. Through debates, strategic negotiations and engaging role play, the participants will gain hands-on insight into how the European Union works. They will also have the chance to attend workshops and talks with international relations professionals and EU experts.

To apply, you should be between 18 and 30 years old, have a good level of English (minimum B2), and be able to attend the entire event in Lisbon. 

Participants from Moldova will benefit from full funding: no participation fee is required, and travel, accommodation, meals, and all activities are covered.

Participants from other countries are also welcome to apply. They should cover their travel costs and participation fee. The fee is €100, which includes four nights of accommodation, all materials, lunch for five days, coffee breaks, and participation in gala night.

The deadline for applications is 20 June.
