Grants from EU, Denmark and UNDP to develop regional networks of working groups on community engagement in Ukraine

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine, in partnership with the European Union and the Government of Denmark, is seeking partners to develop regional networks of working groups focused on community engagement in Ukraine’s recovery processes.

The aim of the grant initiative is to select a capable regional-level civil society organisation to strengthen and coordinate the network of working groups focused on community engagement. The project will be implemented in partner communities in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson and Chernihiv regions.

UNDP will support one partner organisation to develop and coordinate each regional network. These working groups should become a working tool for citizen participation in recovery and the implementation of reforms at the local level.

The maximum budget for a project proposal must not exceed US$120,000 (around €104,000).

The deadline for applications is 15 April.
