Grants for independent media in Moldova

Internews in Moldova invites independent media to apply for the ‘Support Fund for Independent Media in Moldova’ grants programme, funded by the European Union.

The aim of the programme is to provide institutional support for professional independent media in Moldova to stay afloat and continue producing trustworthy and evidence-based content. Funds will help media outlets continue operations, content production and distribution, and audience engagement according to their strategy.

Up to nine awards will be issued. The maximum budget for each proposal is €27,600.

Romanian and Russian-language outlets and multiple independent platforms (TV, radio, print, and/or online), registered in Moldova, are eligible to apply.

The deadline for applications is 7 September.
