EU-funded project in Moldova invites experts in media field


An EU-funded project to support local independent media start-ups in Moldova invites experts in various media fields to advise its beneficiaries.

The project ‘EU Support for Local Media Outlets in the Republic of Moldova’ is  implemented by a group of partner organisations led by the Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation. The project will provide training, individual mentoring, study visits and expert advice.

Areas of expertise will include both content management and editorial management, as well as financial (taxes and accounting, fundraising, crowdfunding, etc.) and safety issues for journalists.

The potential expert should be a citizen of the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine or any EU member state, should have at least ten years of proven experience in his/her field, and should be fluent in English, Romanian or Russian.

The general remuneration for the position of expert is €95 per hour of consultation.

The deadline for applications is 9 January.
