DW Akademie: EU-funded Mental health support for Georgian journalists


DW Akademie, in collaboration with the Foundation Global Initiative on Psychiatry – Tbilisi, offers mental health counselling to Georgian media professionals who need support during the ongoing political crisis. 

The counselling is provided by the evidence-based, multidisciplinary mental health service ‘Club Synergy’.

The support is provided within the project ‘Mental Health Support for Georgian Media Professionals’. This project is part of a broader initiative ‘The Quality Media and Conscious Media Consumption for Resilient Society’ (ConMeCo), implemented by DW Akademie (DWA) in cooperation with the Media Development Foundation (MDF) and Human Rights Centre (HRC) funded by the European Union and co-funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
