The Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine invites journalists, educators, and civil society activists to participate in a two-day offline сapacity-building event, ‘Debunking disinformation on the European Union and the EU’s support to Ukraine: fact-checking Workshop.’
The event will take place on 7-8 May, in Cherkasy (the location will be shared with selected participants later).
Guided by experts and speakers on countering disinformation, the participants will learn more about how Russian propaganda exploits the topic of European integration and support for Ukraine; they will gain new skills in using tools to verify information using specialised tools, and meet like-minded people to work on the ideas for possible joint projects.
Invited speakers are Svitlana Slipchenko, Deputy Executive Director of Vox Ukraine, and
Dzvenyslava Shcherba, Journalist and Analyst at Internews Ukraine.
Registration is open until 28 April.
