CENN in Georgia: call for applications for green scholarship


The EU-funded Caucasus Environmental Non-Governmental Network (CENN) announces a call for applications for the Chichiko Janelidze Green Scholarship.

CENN established the Chichiko Janelidze Scholarship in 2021. The aim of the scholarship is to promote environmental education among young people. The scholarship is named after the outstanding geographer and ecologist Chichiko Janelidze and is awarded annually to successful young ecologists.

The amount of the scholarship is 1,000 lari. One winner between the ages of 14 and 29 will be chosen in each category:

  • Contribution to the protection of forest resources and biodiversity;
  • Climate Change Awareness, Mitigation and Effective Adaptation.

The deadline for applications is 30 June.
