What do electoral candidates promise? Analysis of the electoral programmes for the 2025 parliamentary elections

This report analyses the electoral programmes of candidates in Moldova’s 2025 parliamentary elections from a gender equality and social inclusion perspective. It assesses the extent to which political commitments reflect principles of non-discrimination and equal opportunities across nine thematic areas, including health, education, labour market participation, and protection against gender-based violence. Using a scorecard methodology, the study evaluates the level of integration of gender equality in electoral platforms. The findings highlight variations in political commitment and identify gaps between formal declarations and substantive policy proposals addressing equality and inclusion.
