This report outlines Moldova’s implementation of the Convention for the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), covering advancements between 2019 and 2022. It highlights legislative reforms, policies and programmes related to gender equality, setting out concrete actions taken by the Republic of Moldova to eradicate discrimination and build an environment in which women and girls can thrive without restrictions. From significant legislative reforms and innovative policies, to awareness-raising initiatives and empowerment programmes, it documents importants step taken to ensure that gender equality is not just a goal, but an increasingly tangible reality.
