Guide for Journalists by the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine


The Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine has developed an updated edition of its Guide for Journalists. It will be useful for those interested in the European Union and its activities in Ukraine. The Guide includes information on: functions and activities of the EU institutions, EU-Ukraine cooperation, programmes and projects of the EU in Ukraine, publicly available EU materials and audiovisual services, and EU-related think tanks, organisations, and information resources.

Each section includes useful tips as well as comments for media representatives regarding their work and communication with staff members of the EU institutions and the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, in particular, terms for release of comments and information provided by employees and their contact information as well as deadlines, terms and conditions for journalists’ accreditation. This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
