The analytical study on the 2024 pay gap in Moldova examines the persistent disparities in wages between genders, identifying systemic and structural factors contributing to the issue. It provides an in-depth analysis of employment trends, wage distribution, and the impact of policies aimed at addressing income inequality. Recommendations emphasise strengthening legal frameworks, promoting equitable labor practices, and enhancing transparency in remuneration processes. The study aims to guide policymakers in developing strategies for achieving greater economic equity and inclusion.
