Borderland Personalities: winning works by youth writers within the Contest of the CBC Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020

The CBC Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020 presents the best works sent within the International Contest ‘Borderland Personalities’ (2020 Edition) by youth Writers from three Programme countries: Poland, Belarus and Ukraine.

The competition was addressed to youth who enjoy and still value writing. The aim was to restore the memory of many outstanding personalities who made an extraordinary contribution to Polish, Belarusian and Ukrainian history and culture or in other positive way influenced the Programme area. Among many eminent personalities described by participants were kings, magnate families, inventors, artists and great female figures.

This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service.
