Annual Survey 2026: Azerbaijan

This ‘Annual Survey 2026 – Azerbaijan. Perception of the European Union’ was carried out by the EU regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood (EU NEIGHBOURS east). The survey was conducted in January-February 2026.

Most Azerbaijani citizens – 62% – feel relations between the EU and Azerbaijan are good, according to the 2026 annual survey of opinion in Azerbaijan, but only 22% have a positive image of the EU, with 42% neutral and 8% negative, with face-to-face interviews.
