European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said yesterday on X that she had spoken to Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili.
“The situation following the elections remains concerning,” von der Leyen wrote in the post on X. “If Georgia wants to keep a strategic orientation towards the EU, we need concrete actions from the leadership.”
She added that the European Commission’s enlargement report shows Georgia what it needs to do to keep moving towards the EU.
