The European Union and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in collaboration with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, have opened a photo exhibition entitled ‘They Save. They Support. They Protect’ in Dnipro.
The exhibition tells the stories of rescuers, psychologists, medics, police officers and energy workers – those who work for the benefit of Ukrainian communities, often risking their own lives.
Through portraits and personal stories, the exhibition showcases not only professional dedication but also human strength, compassion and resilience.
Dnipro is the first city on the exhibition’s regional tour following its successful launch in Kyiv at the end of 2025.
The exhibition will run from 6 to 15 May at the MOST City shopping centre (second floor). Admission is free.
The EU4Recovery initiative is a strategic partnership between the EU and UNDP aimed at supporting war‑affected communities across Ukraine while advancing the country’s path towards EU integration. On 6 May, EU and UNDP officially launched the €50 million EU4Recovery Phase II partnership for Ukraine.
