SEEDS: empowering young people with knowledge and skills to achieve success through career planning

The Association ‘Atinati’ has successfully completed the Youth Career Development Clubs initiative.

On 7 March, the closing event of one of the key components of the SEEDS project – Youth Career Development – was held at the Association ‘Atinati’ office. During the event, club members, along with their teachers and trainers, shared their experiences, reflected on the project’s impact, and discussed future steps in career planning.

Key highlights:

• Six public schools in Zugdidi, Poti, Kaspi, and Khoni launched Career Development Clubs.
• Club members received career development training, and a psychologist conducted both group and individual sessions.
• Participants engaged with professionals from various fields and visited 16 enterprises through study visits to observe real work environments.
• A radio programme aired on Radio ‘Atinati’, where experts shared their career paths, advice, and insights into industry challenges.
• The Aflatoun Digital Finance manual was translated and adapted into a digital version.

The project ‘SEEDS – Social Entrepreneurship and Enhanced Development-based Skills in Georgia and Ukraine’ is implemented by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) in collaboration with Tallinn University (TLU), the Youth Innovation Center (YIC), the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), the Center of Expert Solution and Advocacy (CESA), and the Association ‘Atinati’.

The project is funded by the European Union and implemented in Georgia and Ukraine.
