‘Moldova’s place is in Europe’: Roberta Metsola pays official visit to Chisinau
Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, is on an official visit to Moldova today.
Metsola met with Moldovan President Maia Sandu and representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers to discuss the country’s European prospects and the steps to be taken.
The president of the European Parliament also participated in a plenary session of the Moldovan Parliament and exchanged views with its Members on Moldova’s European path.
“Moldova’s place in Europe. We must have a common future. The European Parliament will do everything necessary to support you on your path of accession to the European Union,” Roberta Metsola said in her speech at the Moldovan Parliament.
