On 29 October, the 4th EU–Armenia Global Gateway Investment Coordination Platform took place in Yerevan.
The meeting was led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan and a visiting EU mission led by Adrienn Király, Director for Neighbourhood East and Türkiye at Directorate-General for Enlargement and the Eastern Neighbourhood (DG ENEST).
Discussions focused on regional connectivity priorities, including progress on the Caucasus Transmission Network, which will enable energy exchange between Armenia and Georgia. The sides also discussed the progress on the Sisian–Kajaran road, which will substantially shorten travel time between the two cities.
International Financial Institutions presented a pipeline of future projects in view of scaling up investments in connectivity and business.
