Exports from Moldova to the EU rise by 57.2%

Exports from Moldova to the European Union have risen sharply in the past year, according to statistics released by the EU Delegation to Moldova. The EU remains the main destination for Moldovan exports.

The EU Delegation cites data from Moldova’s National Bureau of Statistics, according to which the total value of goods exported to the 27 EU member states between January and July 2022 amounted to US$ 1,587.1 million.

This is an increase of 57.2% compared to the same period in 2021.

“The European Union confirms its commitment to further support Moldovan entrepreneurs and remains Moldova’s most important economic partner,”  says a press release by EU Delegation to Moldova.
