Europe Day to mark 30 years of partnership between EU and Georgia

On 9 May, Expo Georgia will transform into a Europe Day celebration. The EU Delegation to Georgia invites everyone to attend its annual event dedicated to the EU-Georgia relationship. This year also marks 30 years of partnership between the EU and Georgia.

Pavilions 5-6 will host the ‘Team Europe’ exhibition. Each EU Member State will present its extraordinary contributions to humanity — from scientific revolutions and groundbreaking inventions to cultural movements.

Pavilion 11 will tell the story of what the EU-Georgia partnership really means. At the heart of the pavilion, a special installation ‘30 Years of EU-Georgia Partnership’ will take participants on a visual journey through the milestones that have defined and deepened this relationship.

Pavilion 4 will become a live ‘My Europe, My Future’ podcast studio. Throughout the day, different hosts will explore questions: What does Europe mean to Georgians today? What does our shared future look like? What unites us across borders and generations? Each session will run 20-45 minutes.

Pavilion 3 will be dedicated to EU opportunities, including in education and professional growth. The pavilion will offer practical workshops and expert advice. Participants will find out how to apply for Erasmus+ opportunities and discover the EU Prize for Journalism, a local contest recognising outstanding journalism in Georgia.

Expo Georgia is located at Tsereteli Ave. 118, Tbilisi. Doors will open at 12:00.

The entry is free.
