On 10 April, the European Union Partnership Mission in the Republic of Moldova (EUPM Moldova) and the Cybersecurity Agency of the Republic of Moldova met to review the progress of their cooperation and to endorse the Cooperation Plan for 2026, guiding joint activities for the year ahead.
The newly endorsed cooperation framework sets out priorities for continued collaboration, including reinforcing institutional capacities, facilitating effective exchanges of expertise and best practice, and enhancing tools to address an evolving cyber threat landscape.
“The discussions underlined our shared commitment to strengthening Moldova’s digital resilience and to further supporting the development of national cybersecurity institutions and capabilities,” EUPM Moldova said in a Facebook post.
The meeting also provided another opportunity to reflect on the forthcoming conclusion of Ambassador Cosmin Dinescu’s mandate as Head of Mission at EUPM Moldova. EUPM also reaffirmed its commitment to building on this foundation and to supporting the sustained development of Moldova’s cybersecurity resilience under future leadership.
