Waste management using artificial intelligence, reducing financial losses and food waste, and other innovative solutions were proposed at the Cahul edition of the ‘Eco-Solutions Developed by Youth’ hackathon. The event took place on 4-5 April at the B. P. Hasdeu University Centre.
The hackathon brought together 12 teams, motivated to develop viable solutions in the areas of the circular economy, sustainable agriculture and resource efficiency, and digital solutions for the green transition.

The event was organised by the project ‘Facilitating an Inclusive Green Transition in the Republic of Moldova,’ funded by the European Union and implemented by UNDP Moldova.
