Orkhan Masimov

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and a master’s degree in Management in Information Technologies from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University. I am keen on media communication, PR and marketing communication and project management.

I am currently engaged in COP29 Azerbaijan. I have worked as a Communication Specialist in the EU-funded project ’Collaborate for Impact’ within Azerbaijan. I led the project within the EU4Youth Alumni Network in 2023 and EaP Civil Facility Fellowship in 2022. I am a Young European Ambassador and I have been working as a trainer in the Ministry of Science and Education’s project.

My main motivation is to benefit local communities by providing both financial and non-financial resources. I am planning to gain expertise in the fields of communication and project management.

Within the EU4Youth Alumni Network, I am leading the ‘Foster youth, future boost’ project. The main purpose of the initiative is to work with the local community to hone their skills and provide a space for them to implement their own initiatives.
