Members of the ‘Orizont’ Euro Club from Durlești (Chișinău municipality) went to Brussels for a study visit taking place from 12 to 15 July. The trip was the prize won in the national programme EU Accelerator 3.0 – EU Communicators.
The visit included meetings with representatives of European institutions and the Republic of Moldova, offering participants the opportunity to better understand the European decision-making process and the development opportunities available to young people.
The group visited the European Commission, where they discussed the European Union’s enlargement process and learned more about the opportunities offered by programmes such as Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps.
The visit continued at the interactive space Experience Europe, where the youth explored how European institutions function through digital technologies. The agenda also included a visit to the European Parliament.
Members of the Orizont Euro Club are part of a network of 90 young communicators from ten communities in the Republic of Moldova, working to bring European values closer to citizens. As part of the national campaign ‘Eu mă integrez’ (I Integrate), they created original digital content that reached over 650,000 people online.
