Simultaneously, he is a student at “Invisible University for Ukraine.” Oleksandr has a diverse background in social projects, public speaking, and creative writing. He published books “We All Have Our Desires and Dreams” and “Free Bird in a Poet’s Soul” to motivate children and renovate cultural heritage. Danylo Shokha

Danylo is a student who attends a Ukrainian school, learns German and went to a German gymnasium. He has been involved in volunteering since he was in 5th grade. He is interested in politics, history, economics, mathematics, physics, art, architecture and programming. He completed the autumn part of the EU Study Days online school. He wrote scientific papers at the Junior Academy of Sciences in Ukraine.

Alina Shevchuk

Alina is an International Relations student at Одеський національний університет імені І.І.Мечникова (Odessa National University named after I I Mechnikov). She spent a semester studying International Relations at the Università di Bologna (University of Bologna) as a participant in the Erasmus+ exchange program. She is an active member of the community. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, she has contributed to raise awareness by translating interviews into a variety of languages.

Ivanna Sherstiuk

Ivanna is a high school student interested in learning foreign languages, diplomacy, global issues, psychology, and business. Her active engagement in various activities sparked a desire to join the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative. From her point of view, our generation needs to raise awareness and instigate positive changes to preserve the environment and foster a responsible, equal, and conflict-free society. She believes these efforts lead to a strong, independent, and flourishing nation!

Anastasiia Sheremok

Anastasiia is majoring in international law and has a strong interest in research and a passion for MootCourts. This year she is participating in the biggest moot competition in the world called Jessup, and EUniWell European Law Moot Court. Anastasiia held internship positions at Ukrainian and Czech governmental institutions. Her involvement extends beyond national boundaries, having participated in numerous exchange programs, and played a key role in facilitating the arrival of international delegations to Kyiv. These projects taught her to manage various political platforms, respect different points of view, and confidently lead debates.

Anastasiia Shashkova

Anastasiia (Nastya) considers herself to be a very dreamy and creative person. She is studying in high school, but is also a volunteer and activist. She is a part of the “Changemakers” project as well as her school’s Euroclub “Harmony” where she started to learn about activism. She is also volunteering in support of the war effort. Nastya loves reading and is fond of writing stories. She looks forward to trying her best to contribute value to the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative.

Myroslava Senko

Myroslava is a Business Informatics and System Analysis student passionate about high-quality education and human rights. She moved to Germany to pursue her studies and is currently learning from her European experience. After participating in the German-American Youth Exchange in 2023, she shared her insights by organising lectures for high school students in her hometown. Myroslava’s goal is to continue spreading awareness and motivating as many people as possible to work towards positive changes.

Anna Semkiv

Anna lives for science, literature, and Ukraine. She can’t imagine her life without literature, science, or Ukraine – all of these parts are equally important to her. In the future, she wants to be a scientist, writer, and politician. Her main purpose is to change Ukraine, starting by changing the education system. Anna has a strong personality: during her cancer treatment, she volunteered, and even after going into remission, Anna still proceeded with volunteering. Anastasiia Semenchuk

Anastasiia is coordinating numerous growth projects for more than 50 Ukrainian regional media. She is also a co-founder of a local youth NGO, which has engaged 40 volunteers since the full-scale invasion. Here, Anastasiia helps to educate young people and fundraise great amounts for the defensive army of Ukraine.

Tanya is currently studying philology (Ukrainian language and literature) at the Харківський національний університет іменi В.Н. Каразіна (Kharkiv National University named after V.N. Danylo is a high school student, who is passionate about combining different factors to solve global problems, as well as improving relations with different countries. Maryna Sabashenko

Maryna is a second-year Bachelor degree student majoring in International Economic Relations at Харківський національний університет іменi В.Н. Каразіна (Kharkiv National University named after V.N. Karazin). She is a youth worker who is also involved in projects for women affected by the war in Ukraine. Maryna actively participates in projects funded by the European Commission. Her areas of interest include learning foreign languages, promoting diversity and raising awareness of topics silenced by the international community. She firmly believes that youth is the power that can change our world for the better.

Liudmyla Romanchuk

Liudmyla is studying International Communications at the Institute of International Relations. As a public activist and student, she was interested in the European Union and youth policy. After an exchange in Slovakia, Liudmyla finally decided to promulgate European values, and this has led to her latest role as a Young European Ambassador.

Marharyta Rohoza

Margot is a dedicated and passionate activist working within the European Union to champion various social and environmental causes. Born in Kyiv, Margot’s commitment to activism began at a young age, driven by her belief in a more just and sustainable world. Since 2022, she has been on her gap year as an ESC volunteer in the Czech Republic and an Erasmus participant in Austria and Spain. In addition, she is a passionate English teacher and mentor with experience of over 5 years and is keen on starting an educational revolution in Ukraine.

Olha Rodina

Olha is a third year student of International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies. She takes an active part in student government and is constantly looking for new opportunities (projects, training events). She has participated in three short-term Erasmus+ projects. She considers her strengths to be sociability, determination, organisation, and self-development. At 19, she notes that she has not decided on her life’s work, but she is working hard to achieve self-discovery. She joined the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative to understand what she could do to bring about change at all levels of our society.

EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
