Vincent is in his third year of studies at Maastricht University reading Global Studies. His research focuses on crisis management, security policies and youth engagement. He writes regularly for student-led magazines in the United Kingdom and continental Europe. Vincent enjoys working with people from around the world and is eager to implement youth projects to bring awareness and transparency regarding national and EU policies.

Moritz Clauder

Moritz is in his second year of studies at the Freie Universität in Berlin, studying Political Sciences with a focus on Europe, the European Union, and Eastern Europe. Through his role as a Young European Ambassador, he also serves as a board member of the EU&UK chapter as well as the co-coordinator of the Dialogue Initiative EU-Ukraine Working Group which enables EU, UK, and Ukrainian Young European Ambassadors to work together in organizing joint events, projects, and campaigns to raise awareness about EU-Ukrainian relations and Ukraine’s fight against russian aggression.

Frederik Urban

Frederik is currently enrolled in his final year of studies for a Bachelor degree in International Relations and Slavic Studies at the Universität Erfurt, Germany. After graduating from school, he spent a year in Armenia as part of his European Voluntary Service. During his studies, Frederik was afforded the opportunity to visit almost all the other Eastern Partnership countries as part of internships or foreign travel. Frederik is also engaged in a variety of NGOs and is organising his own Erasmus+ projects. His academic and professional interests concern Security Studies, international cooperation and international relations as well as the affairs of countries of the post-Soviet space.

Erik Romera Tiedemann

Erik is currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Politics and Public Administration at the University of Konstanz, Germany. He has been highly involved in youth activism and all things European for some time, representing his university at the “EU Careers Ambassador” initiative and advocating for a federal Europe as part of the ‘Young European Federalists’. As a Young European Ambassador, Erik aims to spread more awareness in the EU about the significance of the Eastern Partnership and its participating countries.

Dominik Sujka

Driven by a strong belief in interdisciplinary approaches, Dominik is simultaneously pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Sociology as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Eastern European Studies/Philosophy at Heidelberg University. Lisa Menetrier

Lisa is working towards a Bachelor degree in English and French law at the Queen Mary University of London / Paris 1 Sorbonne. Her main interest lies in maritime issues and the key role seas and oceans hold in European dynamics. Lisa actively takes part in volunteering projects such as the European Youth Parliament as well as in the advocacy for human rights. Her commitment to fostering solidarity and active citizenship of young people led her to deliver the Speech to the European Youth at the France-German friendship summit in 2022. Apart from her civic engagement, Lisa practises martial art at national level and is always open to debates about philosophy and literature.

Élise Maréchal

Élise is a Master’s degree student in European Studies at Sciences Po Strasbourg, and is currently working on her thesis in EU-Georgia relations. Élise is also president of Voix d’Europe, a student association of her university promoting the debate of ideas on European issues. In the future, she would like to work in European affairs in the field of external relations, whether for institutions of the European Union or a research institute.

Chloé is currently studying International Security and Eurasian studies at Sciences Po Paris. She did an internship in the French embassy in Latvia last year as she is very interested in Eastern cultures. Besides, she took part in many intercultural projects through Model United Nations and her Erasmus and wishes to continue this way in her role as a Young European Ambassador.

Anna Romanovská

Anna holds a Bachelor degree in Philosophy and History from the University of Exeter and is currently working to complete her Master’s degree in East European Studies at University College London. Based in London, Anna spends much of her time working to improve her understanding of the Central and Eastern European regions. Her interests include the democratic resilience of the CEE region, as well as the impact of disinformation on wider society.

Danijel Bačan

Danijel is in his second year of a Master’s degree course in Geography. Specialising in Spatial Planning and Regional Development, he looks forward to becoming a professor in Geography. Martin Penov

Martin is a Bulgarian activist in his final year of Politics & International Relations at the University of Manchester. In 2020 he took part in relaunching the Young European Movement UK, advocating for closer ties with the European Union as its International Officer & Vice-President, as well as founding its Manchester branch. He launched the University of Manchester Students’ Union’s Ukraine campaign and took part in numerous local charity initiatives. Outside the UK, Martin sits on the Danube Youth Council of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) and writes for The New Federalist on society and politics in Eastern Europe and the Balkans.

Currently on Erasmus exchange in Prague for his third year of a Bachelor degree, Jules studies at Sciences Po Paris and specialises in the European Union and Central and Eastern Europe. Having grown up in a very European environment in Brussels, Jules has always been driven by the desire to meet new people and discuss European affairs. Jules continues to follow his political passion through involvement in various EU-related initiatives such as This Time I’m Voting, JEF Europe, Le Taurillon, Europe Direct and now the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative.

Kristof holds a Bachelor degree in Geography and is currently working towards a Joint Master’s degree in Sustainable Territorial Development. Paulius Jakubčionis

Paulius is a public activist, with great experience in international organisations, in domestic policy communication, and in the formulation of political strategies. Currently, Paulius is the Coordinator for the Baltic States Group and takes care and ensures that direct communication with Eastern European countries and the Baltic states continues to improve. Leadership, communication, and perseverance are the added values that Paulius fosters through his role as a Young European Ambassador.

This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
