Mireia Brunet Villarejo is a Young European Ambassador from Barcelona, Spain. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Global Studies and is currently pursuing a Master’s in affairs, international security, and gender. She has worked as a Human Rights Officer at the World Organisation Against Torture (OMCT) in Brussels, conducting human rights advocacy. Previously, she completed an internship at the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) and was a visiting researcher at the Institute of European Studies (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona). She also worked in International Cooperation at the City Council of Tarragona (Spain).
