
Harutyun is a law student at the French University in Armenia (UFAR), pursuing a co-diploma program with Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, specializing in international law, with a strong focus on human rights, conflict resolution, and international criminal law. Having lived through the impact of armed conflict in the region, he developed a deep interest in peacebuilding, mediation, and post-conflict reconciliation. This experience has shaped his academic and civic engagement, motivating him to contribute to dialogue-based solutions, youth empowerment, and the promotion of international legal standards. He has participated in international academic programs and mediation-related initiatives, working at the intersection of law, diplomacy, and civic engagement. As a Young European Ambassador, Harutyun is committed to promoting EU values, peaceful cooperation, and mutual understanding between the European Union and Eastern Partnership countries.
