Gulzar recently graduated with a Bachelor degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language at Azərbaycan Dillər Universiteti (Azerbaijan University of Languages). Throughout her studies, Gulzar has been an active participant of many great activities, events and youth exchanges in local as well as in an international arena where she has developed strong skills, ideas and expanded her circle of friends. Her first international experience was gained through an exchange programme in Turkey. By representing Azerbaijan in international forums and conferences her leadership and public speaking skills were improved. Furthermore, Gulzar enjoyed study abroad experience in Turkey through an Erasmus+ grant that continues to be a great source of motivation. As a Young European Ambassador since 2018, Gulzar considers that such a network of talented young people brings together great contributions to youth work and intercultural communication, and affords this generation with a chance to work together with the hope of establishing a bright future.

This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
