Dimitri considers himself to be a dynamic individual with a profound interest in Computer Science, Information Technologies, Environmental Sciences, and Social Politics. As a student who excels in areas that shape our future, Dimitri has actively coordinated a debate club, raising awareness on global issues such as the Great Pacific Garbage Patch and climate change. Beyond academia, he is an avid programmer and a dedicated volunteer, recognised for independently initiating a coastal cleanup. Inspired by the European Union’s commitment to democracy and equality, Dimitri stays informed through social media and personal research, often sharing knowledge through school presentations and online platforms. As a Young European Ambassador, he aims to foster the integration of Eastern Partnership countries within the EU, embodying the youthful zeal for activism and change.

This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
