Online forum on gender equality and women’s empowerment in Eastern Partnership: CSOs invited to join on 9–10 February

Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine are invited to participate in a pioneering online forum – ‘Gender equality and women’s empowerment in Eastern Partner countries: CSOs’ role and opportunities for cooperation’. The event will take place on 9–10 February.

Organised by the EU4Gender Equality Reform Helpdesk project and funded by the European Union, the forum will bring together CSOs, international organisations, experts and gender advisers and activists from all six Eastern partner countries. They will discuss key issues and challenges to gender equality and women’s empowerment in the region, as well as

developing and strengthening a network for information and knowledge exchange.

The online forum will include panel discussions with CSOs and experts focusing on the social and economic empowerment of women, strategies to prevent and eliminate violence against women and other important topics.

To participate in the forum please fill in a short registration form to receive a Zoom invitation the day before it takes place.
