Moldova: EU media competition to debunk myths about the energy sector


Moldovan journalists are invited to participate in a competition of media articles on debunking myths in the energy sector.

The contest is launched by the European Union’s programme ‘Addressing the impacts of the energy crisis in the Republic of Moldova’, implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Moldova.

Submitted articles should cover in a professional manner topics related to the energy sector, with an emphasis on debunking myths which refer to the use of electricity, natural gas, fuels, and renewable energy, as well as its impact on alleviating the impacts of climate change.

Each submitted portfolio should contain at least three materials published between 1 January 2022 and 31 March 2023.

The prizes will be awarded in three categories: printed and online media, radio and television.
