EU Delegation to Azerbaijan organises training on disinformation for young journalists


On 31 July, the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan will organise a training on media literacy and disinformation.

The Delegation invites young journalists, media, communication and journalism students, and young analysts and researchers to take part in the activity.

The training will focus on the media in the era of disinformation, types of disinformation and ways to tackle it. The EU’s expert will explain the difference between local and international fake news and internal and external fake news campaigns. The participants will also learn about misinformation on social media concerning climate change and the “Nordic” wave of disinformation.

The training will be held in Azerbaijani language, from 9.30 to 17.00.
