EU-Azerbaijan research and innovation cooperation: proposal writing camp and expert consultations

From 9 to 13 February, the European Commission invites researchers, innovators and National Contact Points from Azerbaijan to a three-day Proposal Writing Camp and two days of expert consultations in Baku.

The training will focus on collaborative research project proposals to be submitted under the Horizon Europe Work Programme 2026-2027 under Pillar II.

The training will also cover other funding instruments such as the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) under Pillar I.

In addition to the three-day camp, individual expert consultations are offered to help individual researchers and innovators understand the competition applications, match the application with the researcher’s and innovator’s experience, and support them in creating a consortium and securing roles within the consortium.

Experienced and young researchers (including PhD candidates), innovation stakeholders and National contact points are encouraged to participate in the training.

The deadline for registration is 28 January 2026.
