Call for Proposals for Development of Smart Villages in Georgia

The European Union and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have announced the second call for proposals for the development of ‘Smart Villages’ in Georgia.

Responding to the pandemic recovery needs in rural areas, this call for proposals focuses on practical, innovative solutions that can unlock new opportunities in job and income creation while promoting the active engagement of socially and economically disadvantaged groups.

Projects selected for financial support should be implemented within the administrative boundaries of at least one village in the municipalities of Keda, Khulo, Borjomi, Akhalkalaki, Tetritskaro, Lagodekhi, Dedoplistskaro and/or Kazbegi.

The participants of the initiative LEADER/ Community-Led Local Development (preference given) and non-LEADER/CLLD entities are invited to apply.

The deadline for submissions is 10 July 2021.
