Ukraine: EU4EMBLAS launches campaign to strengthen eco-habits in Kherson

The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, the EU-UNDP EU4EMBLAS project and the student ecological team ‘Zero Waste School: Kherson’ have launched another campaign to collect and recycle plastic.

To take part in the ‘Sonya gives time for eco-habits’ campaign, you should register via the following link, collect 10 kg of plastic with the sign ‘2’ or ‘HDPE’ (usually this is bottle caps and packaging of detergents), and send collected and sorted plastic to the ‘Zero Waste School: Kherson’ workshop until 22 March (World Water Day).

The special task is to collect as many rare colours of plastic as possible (pink, violet, purple). Each kilogram of such plastic is equal to five kilograms of common plastic.

Every participant who meets all the conditions will receive a unique gift – a wall clock made of recycled plastic with the image of the inhabitants of the Black Sea. Gifts will be presented on World Earth Day, celebrated on 22 April.
