Ukraine Energy Support Fund: over €19 million in critical energy equipment delivered ahead of intensifying winter pressures

The Ukraine Energy Support Fund (UESF), established by the Energy Community Secretariat in agreement with the European Commission, has announced record deliveries to strengthen the power system of Ukraine in November.

During the week of 10–14 November, the Fund delivered €19.2 million worth of critical energy equipment to reinforce Ukraine’s energy system against continued Russian attacks.

Turbines, transformers, mobile cogeneration units, generators, and other essential power infrastructure equipment were included in the latest shipments. Priority deliveries were directed to the hardest-hit regions, helping energy crews to stabilise supplies and prepare for heightened winter stress on infrastructure.

“This record volume demonstrates the Fund’s ability to mobilise and deploy assistance at speed and scale when needed most,” the Fund said in a press release.

With these latest logistics operations, the Fund has now delivered more than €530 million worth of emergency equipment to Ukrainian energy companies, including those on the frontlines of maintaining power and heat supply.

At the same time, the Fund underlines the urgency of closing the €420 million financing gap, ensuring that the Fund can continue matching real-time needs identified by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
