8 questions for 8 March: test your knowledge on gender equality

For many men, International Women’s Day on 8 March is an opportunity to give flowers to the women in their lives, or take on household duties for the day, duties typically seen as a ‘woman’s job’ – reinforcing gender stereotypes, instead of standing by women in the struggle for equal rights and emancipation.

To raise awareness about women’s rights and gender equality, EU NEIGHBOURS east and EU 4 Gender Equality: Together Against Gender Stereotypes and Gender-Based Violence have prepared a quiz through which you can test your knowledge of the current gender equality situation in the world.

From domestic violence to political representation and equal rights in the workplace, take the quiz and test yourself to find out how much do you really know about gender equality.
