Local Food Week takes place in Baku

The opening ceremony of the ‘Local Food Week’ (‘Yurdumun Lezzeti’) has been held in Baku with support from an EU-funded EU project in Azerbaijan.

The event showcased a variety of products from small farms and entrepreneurs benefiting from the project. It also included a presentation and tasting of local dishes from the North-West region of Azerbaijan, as well as a culinary masterclass.

The “Development of sustainable and inclusive local agro-food systems in the northwest region of Azerbaijan” project is funded by the EU and implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
