EUBAM donates mini excavators to Ukrainian border guards
This October, the European Union Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM), with the support of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) Ukraine, donated five modern mini-excavators to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
This donation is part of EUBAM’s ongoing technical assistance aimed at supporting the modernisation and strengthening of sustainability at border crossing points between Ukraine and Moldova.
The excavators will enhance the State Border Guard’s capacity to maintain and improve border infrastructure, facilitate engineering works, and ensure effective response to operational needs along Ukraine-Moldova state border.
Each of the five motorised full-swivel excavators is equipped with a full range of attachments, ensuring their versatility in the field.
