Over 30 participants from the Eastern Partnership (EaP) region attended the inaugural webinar of the EU4Youth Regional Policy Labs Learning Series on 18 July. These online events aim to facilitate the exchange of practices and experiences among Policy Labs practitioners and those interested in the methodology from the EaP region, the EU, and other neighbouring regions.
The first webinar highlighted successful practices from the MUST-a-Lab project, which is being implemented in six European municipalities. The webinar featured presentations from Grenoble (France), Mechelen (Belgium), and Modena (Italy), each showcasing their unique approach to Policy Labs and aimed at improved integration services.
The Policy Labs methodology fosters innovation, collaboration, and practical problem-solving, making it an effective tool for policy development and implementation on a variety of topics. Due to the great interest shown by the audience in the Policy Labs Learning Series, the Policy Labs Hub will offer additional webinars in the upcoming months. Following this, a dedicated space will be established where related information will be accessible to the public.
Through a direct grant agreement, the Policy Labs are supported by the ‘EU4Youth: Youth Engagement and Empowerment’ project, and implemented by local organisations. The EU4Youth Regional Policy Labs Hub, coordinated by EU4Youth Coordination and Policy Support, provides assistance in the conceptualisation, development and monitoring of the policy labs.
