EU4Youth IV supports National Conference of Youth Organisations in Moldova – focus on electoral and European integration processes

From 29 November to 1 December, the National Conference of Youth Organisations brought together over 25 Moldovan NGOs to reflect on lessons learned from the 2024 presidential elections and to explore Moldova’s prospects for European integration ahead of the 2025 parliamentary elections. The discussions highlighted the crucial role of young people in shaping these processes, emphasising their potential to drive meaningful change and actively contribute to the country’s future.

In the days that followed, participants engaged in a dynamic workshop aimed at consulting and drafting a resolution addressing the parliamentary elections and Moldova’s European integration. The collaborative discussions focused on the specific needs of young people and their active involvement in contributing to these critical decision-making processes.

As a result, the final resolution was adopted, solidifying Moldova’s youth commitment to defining the priorities for the nation’s European future. The resolution will be presented to the government of Moldova, highlighting the proactive role of young leaders in shaping the country’s future path.

This event was organised by the National Youth Council of Moldova with the support of the ‘EU4Youth: Youth Engagement and Empowerment’ project, co-funded by the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
