EU4Youth in Armenia: young designers present eco-clothing collection in Gyumri
The ‘rECOvery’ collection exhibition was held in Gyumri on 3 December. The event was held in the framework of an EU-funded project, ‘EU4Youth – Empowered and Active Youth for a more Democratic Armenia Today and Tomorrow’.
Young people from the #IMPACT club at the Gyumri Youth Centre presented new and interesting clothing design, created with care for the environment and with the desire to reduce waste during production. During the project, the young designers acquired skills and put their ideas into practice.
The project was also supported by World Vision Armenia, providing the young people with sewing machines and other necessary equipment and accessories.
