On 6 July, EU4Dialogue, the EU-funded programme implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), started its new phase in Armenia with a capacity-building workshop.
These regional capacity-building workshops are among the first activities launched under the EU4Dialogue programme, equipping local organisations with practical knowledge in project design, proposal writing, budgeting, sustainability, conflict-sensitive programming, gender equality, and inclusive participation.
So far, 83 participants from around 75 organisations have joined workshops in Shirak, Tavush, Ararat, Vayots Dzor, and Gegharkunik regions, with more sessions to follow in Armavir, Syunik, and online.
“By investing in local capacities, the EU and UNDP are supporting community-led solutions that strengthen resilience, promote social cohesion, improve human security, and contribute to lasting peace in Armenia,” UNDP said in a Facebook post.
Beyond the workshops, participating organisations will also receive individual coaching and mentoring to help develop strong, competitive project proposals.
